Specific conditions

  • A deposit of €3,000 will be required by bank pre-authorisation on departure of the vehicle, for all rentals of less than 72 hours. Please check your credit card limit before collecting the vehicle. This deposit of €3,000 will be requested by cheque for all rentals of more than 72 hours. Without a deposit, the vehicle will not leave!
  • The driver of the vehicle must be at least 20 years old and have held a valid driving licence for at least 2 years.
  • Please note: as mentioned in the options, if the vehicle is returned without a full tank of fuel, you will be charged 300 euros (regardless of the fuel level when you return the vehicle) for the hire company to fill up the tank. Similarly, if the vehicle is returned dirty, you will also be charged 250 euros for cleaning. These amounts may be deducted from the pre-authorised bank transfer.
  • A deposit of €3,000 will be required by cheque on departure of the vehicle, for all rentals of more than 72 hours.
  • If the trailer hitch option is selected, you must present an insurance certificate for your van or trailer (the lorry's insurance only covers the lorry - see conditions of use).
  • If the towball is used, the BE licence must be presented when the vehicle is checked out.
  • Additional kilometres may be deducted directly from your pre-authorised bank transfer.
  • An administrative charge of €80 will be billed to you in addition to the cost of repairs in the event of damage to the vehicle.
  • The vehicle is covered by an all-risks insurance policy (excluding the goods transported), excluding any use as part of a paid public transport business. In the event of an accident, the hirer will be liable for an excess of €2,000. For drivers who have held their driving licence for less than two years, an additional excess of €1,000 will be applied. Unless otherwise agreed, as the hirer's civil liability may be incurred under the terms of the law of 5 July 1985, he is covered under the terms of an insurance contract taken out by the lessor for the benefit of the hirer, in application of article L.2111 of the insurance code. This insurance cover only applies to mainland France. If the vehicle is to be taken out of French territory, the prior agreement of the lessor is required.
  • You are not insured in the following cases: - If you are unable to return the vehicle to the lessor or the original keys to the vehicle after having discovered that they have been stolen. In this case, you will be required to pay the value of the vehicle as estimated by an expert. - When the damage to the vehicle is the result of burns, interior damage, overloading or the driver's misjudgement of the vehicle's size, particularly on the upper parts and underside of the vehicle. - When the driver is under the influence of alcohol or drugs. - If you have provided false information to your hire company. - When the damage to the vehicle occurs after the date of return of the vehicle stipulated in this contract, this case being considered as a misappropriation of the vehicle. - When the damage is the result of a deliberate act by the hirer of any kind whatsoever. - When the vehicle is overloaded by carrying a load greater than that authorised on the registration document. - For glass breakage and tyre damage, you will be asked to pay an excess of €200 excluding VAT.

Remboursements accordés sur le montant de la réservation : 100% en cas de demande d'annulation reçue au plus tard 2 semaines avant la location du véhicule ; 95% en cas de demande d'annulation reçue reçue entre 2 semaines et 7 jours avant la location du véhicule ; 50% en cas de demande d'annulation reçue entre 7 jours et 48h avant le début de la location ; aucun remboursement en cas de demande d'annulation dans les 48h avant la location du véhicule.
